Indian Government Launches Mobile App On World Blood Donors Day
The National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), Ministry of Health and
Family Welfare observed the “World Blood Donor Day “on June 14th under
the guidance of National Blood Transfusion Council (NBTC).
The “world blood donors day” is an attempt to praise the efforts of the blood donors’ whose noble actions help save millions of lives every year. The ministry hopes to raise awareness about the blood donation by observing this day.The theme for this year’s campaign is “Thank you for saving my life.” a press release by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, said that the slogan for this year’s campaign is “Give freely, give often. Blood donation matters.With this step the information regarding the availability of blood in the nearest blood banks will be easily accessible to millions of smartphone users throughout the country.
